To Honor Mr. Lamont White

"How do you honor Lamont White? You cannot honor his death — there is no honor in it. You can honor his life. How do you do this — live like Lamont lived. Find some joy today. Eat some good food, kiss your spouse, enjoy the game. Most importantly — tell your friend, your son daughter, brother, sister, Father and Mother — you love them."

- Tony M.

In Memory of Mr. Lamont White

"Lamont was an incredibly sweet, caring, loyal friend. All of his friends will miss him dearly. I pray that they find the person who did this and they are prosecuted to the full extent of the law. RIP Lamont White. You will be missed. :*(" - Autumn S.

"He had many friends. His journey in life was to make as many friends regardless of their choices in life... Meaning if they were a shady character he found a reason to be their friend." - Anne P.

"The service was beautiful. More than 300 people, standing room only, showed up for our brother... He touched so many people. He was truly a great guy. We all will miss him."

- Kenneth K.

"Lamont had a 20 plus year career with Xerox. He worked part time at Target. The amount of people at his funeral services was a testiment to the wonderful person he was. RIP Lamont. You are missed at Xerox."

- M.C.

"Mr. White has helped me to learn to be more outgoing with people, to break the ice with those I come into contact with, and to make as many friends along the way through this journey of life. He helped me to see the "Big Picture" about life, our journey, and putting our priorities in order. He encouraged me to travel, to see the good in the world, and to do what we can to make it a better place."

- Curtis S.

"This is so terrible to hear. Lamont was a wonderful person. He also worked at Xerox where he was an incredibly kind, caring and generous man. I have to say in the 14 years I knew him he was always a hard working, maintaining two jobs.... RIP Lamont."

- Roxanne G.

Special Video Presentation: A Comforting Message of Hope

"The Blessed Hope"

"Comfort One Another With These Words"

In the Holy Bible, we are told to "comfort one another" with this awesome message found in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18. I also want to comfort you with the messages found in John 14:1-3 and John 11:11-14. I know Lamont will be in "that number" and I look forward to the Resurrection morning when we all shall meet and be reunited once again.  Learn More.

Jesus referred death as a sleep. John 11:11-14.

One of Jesus’ most significant miracles recorded in the Bible was the resurrection of Lazarus from the dead (John 11). There are other instances of people who had been raised from the dead, but unlike those mentioned before in the Bible, Lazarus had been dead for an entire period of four days. When Lazarus died, Jesus said, “ ‘Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.’ Then His disciples said, ‘Lord, if he sleeps he will get well.’ However, Jesus spoke of his death, but they thought that He was speaking about taking rest in sleep.” (John 11:11-13, NKJV).   The dead simply "sleep" in their graves until the resurrection, when all will be raised by Jesus. Jesus' Resurrection: The Ultimate Example

Q: What happens to the righteous dead at the second coming of Christ?

A:  They will be rewarded. They will be raised, given immortal bodies, and caught up to meet the Lord in the air. There would be no purpose in a resurrection if people were taken to heaven at death. (Revelation 22:12; 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17; 1 Corinthians 15:51–53) Just as Jesus was resurrected from the grave, so will those who trusted in Him will also be resurrected at the last day.  See John 5:28, 29; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.  Learn More.

"Beside The Still Waters"

"He who calmed the raging sea, is the same One who will lead you "'beside the still waters.'"

Mark 4:35-41; Psalm 23:1, 2.
